Stage Boat
According to the news, the theater will be built on a tug boat. This "stage boat" will be towed by another ship and performances will be done on it. It's probably going to be like Team 8, just with a boat.
The idea for STU48 came from a local company who had interest in making a new group in the Setouchi countryside. Preparations are already on-going.

Next Summer STU48 will start their Ship Theater in the Seto Inland Sea
Next summer the AKB48 Group will launch the new theater of the new group STU48 (Setouchi48). The announcement was held on October 10th during the Janken Tournament at the Kobe World Memorial Hall.
Immediately after the AKB48 Janken Tournament and the victory of Tanabe Mikusan, the curtain was let down.
A map of Japan was projected on the screen, following was a continuation of Setouchi Inland Sea cities, Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, Okayama, Hyogo, Ehime, Kagawa, and Tokushima. Following the announcement "The theater will be not related to one city", we were told that "it'll be a shipboard theater for the 7 cities in the Setouchi Inland Sea!!". After the final news that "STU48 will departure in Summer 2017!!" loud cheering was heard.
